Cat Lewin

Cat has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years. Her yoga teaching training journey began in 2017 in the inaugural year of teacher training at the Yoga Sanctuary of Belleville, graduating in December of 2018 as a 200 hour registered yoga teacher. She continues to deepen her knowledge with continuing education and practicing what she teaches.

Her primary focus is connecting mind, body and breath in trauma-sensitive yoga accessible to most. She teaches Yin, Hatha, Restorative, Vinyassa, Chair and Guided Awareness/Yoga Nidra. She guides safe alignment for your body while integrating breath work, meditation and other components of the 8 limbs of yoga. Being the proud spouse of a military veteran, Cat also has a passion for providing yoga to this community.

Cat believes that yoga is a way of living by creating breath and body awareness, length and space in the body and providing tools for students to find more stillness in their bodies and minds in every day.
