Yin to Encourage Better Sleep

Beginner friendly. Our evening Yin Yoga practice will focus on engagement of your parasympathetic nervous system to encourage a calming and slowing down of your body, mind and breath to encourage better sleep. We practice fewer poses than a traditional yoga class with less muscle engagement allowing for softening of deeper tissue layers with the aid of props and gravity. Less words and more time to turn inwards and explore sensations in your body, recurring thought patterns and limiting self-beliefs. This class incorporates a guided awareness practice during our final pose to allow the practice to settle deeply into the body.
