This NEW class format is a 90-minute class. This class combines gentle flow (vinyasa) yoga with an extended restorative portion of class. The best of a vinyasa yoga class and a Restorative yoga class together.
Open to anyone and everyone. A slow warm-up transitions to poses with longer, deeper holds. Working toward a peak pose and ending with restorative postures. Bring a playful personality and open heart!
Beginner friendly. Find balance in your body, your mind and your breath. In each practice we explore the three principles of Yin Yoga: finding your edge in a pose, finding stillness and spending time there. We practice fewer poses than a traditional yoga class with less muscle engagement allowing for softening of deeper tissue layers with the aid of props and gravity. Less words and more time to turn inwards and explore sensations in the body, recurring thought patterns and limiting self-beliefs. A regular Yin Yoga practice can: add balance to a busy and active life, improve joint and connective tissue mobility, and improve energy flow.
Beginner Friendly/OPEN to ALL skill levels. Begin with long, slow stretches for the typical more tight muscles. Finish with Restorative yoga poses that create restoring the body at the cellular level.
Beginner friendly/OPEN to ALL skill-levels. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting in a chair or standing using a chair for support.
